A Broadband IP Telephone does exactly what it says, a telephone which works over a broadband line. If you were to compare the Samsung digital LCD screen 7, 14, 21 or 34 button keyset to their Broadband IP Telephone you would not notice any difference until you looked on the base of the handset, where instead of an RJ11 power supply inlet is an RJ45. A Broadband IP Telephone connects to a CAT5 socket linking to the OfficeServ phone system, calls get carried via a local area network (LAN) or a broadband remotely, this is called VOIP (Voice Over Internet Protocol) which is a low cost option for businesses.

The Broadband IP Telephone has many user features including Conferencing, Voice-Mail, Auto Attendant, Record ( a legal requirement in certain industries), Forward internal and external and a lot more. The Samsung caller Management Software can be accessed either by a Broadband IP Telephone or a PC.
