Every business requires Cabling for its IT services.  There are CAT5, 5e & 6 specifications for structured cabling to provide 100Mhz data throughput while conventional telephony uses CW1308 telephone cable.

Knowing which is the correct type of Cabling for your premises is not always straight forward.  Sometimes a simple connection from A to B is required while in other circumstances a far more complex system is demanded.

The term “horses for courses” is very applicable in the comms industry.  Don’t expect a general electrician to lay CAT5e correctly, even though he can quote current IEEE regulations & install competently to them. You wouldn’t allow a telecoms engineer to put in your electrical cabling, would you?
