IP:  The basis of Arpanet that became the ubiquitous World Wide Web

DECT:  Digitally Enhanced Cordless Telecommunications – most homes and businesses use this for mobility solutions.

Wi-Fi:  Wireless Fidelity is another name for wireless-IP.  It’s used to connect computers and phones wirelessly in houses and offices.
