door entry system

door_entry_systemWith a door entry system you have a number of choices:  a stand-a-lone door entry system or a linked door entry system.

The first style of door entry system will be self contained, maybe with a security keypad or just a plain call button that alerts a dedicated (wall mounted) handset at reception.  They can then press their release control to unlock the magnetic door latch.

In the second scenario the door entry system is interfaced to the telephone system, so that a specific phone, or groups of phones can ring to announce the visitor when they arrive at one of your points of entry.  The staff member that answers can speak to the person and then by pressing their DOOR key (programmed function-button) activates the electronics of the physical door entry system to open the door.

All Samsung DCS, iDCS and OfficeServ systems have this door entry system functionality.  door_entry_system.pdf
