 For a receptionist the ds-5038s is an ideal terminal.  It has twenty-one keys beneath the thirty-two character liquid crystal display and seventeen to the right of the numeric keypad.  This enables them to have many features available at the touch of a button together with being able to see the status of all the staff at a glance to advise the caller if they can be put through straight away.

Where larger organisations are concerned the ds-5038s can have one or two DS5064 units by the side.  This then extends the number of employee extensions which can be monitored.  Where this is insufficient, then consideration would be made into the use of the OfficeServ Operator CTI application.
