iDCS phones are, as the description hints, the phones that compliment the iDCS100 and iDCS500 telephone systems.  They are also used on the DCS, DCS-Compact, DCS-Compact-II, DCS408, DCS816 and DCS-VIP where they were known as dcs-phones.

Fortunately Samsung are not like some other manufacturers (who ensure older versions do not work fully on fresh system) and the iDCS phones are compatible with the later OfficeServ ranges.  On the OfficeServ100, OfficeServ500 and OfficeServ7000 series the availability of the new features and facilities is not as comprehensive as using the specifically designed DS5000 and DS5100 phones.
