meeting phones

All OfficeServ phones can be used as meeting phones.  They are equipped with a hands-free microphone and loudspeaker so a few people can sit around any of the phones and they can act as meeting phones.

As an alternative by using the CONFERENCE facility a number of phones on the same OfficeServ7000 system can be included in the same conversation to become meeting phones.

However at TelephoneSystemsDirect we think that for some meetings that the functionality of the previously mentioned meeting phones doesn’t provide the desired sensitivity or volume for a sizable group to participate effectively.  In these scenarios we would recommend specifically designed meeting phones such as Polycom’s SoundStation2.  With extension microphones and additional speakers that can be connected by cable or even wirelessly, they are really effective.
