Keeping a phone record of conversations is quite simple nowadays and doesn’t cost the earth like it used to do in the last century!

There are two flavours of phone recording: firstly the phone record of individual phone-calls on an ad-hoc basis and secondly a phone record of every inbound and outbound phonecall.

The first of these types of phone record is achievable on any DCS, iDCS or OfficeServ system that has been installed with an SVM or SVMi voicemail application.  We can set up a VR phone record key on any specific (or all) Euro or DS5000 keyset extension.  Pressing this button during a conversation creates a phone record that can be listened to later.  On the OfficeServ7000 series or older OfficeServ100 and OfficeServ500 products the eMail Gateway (free) facility can create a wav file phone record and send it to your InBox for forwarding to whom it may concern.

The OfficeServ-Call-Recording package deals with the second scenario where all calls entering or leaving the premises leave a phone record.  This runs on one of your PCs; is interfaced to analogue, ISDN2, ISDN30 or SIP trunk lines and is independent of the PABX model or manufacturer.
