What does a phone strobe do?  A phone strobe alerts you visually to the fact that your phone in ringing.  You might work in a noisy office or need to discriminate from someone else’s ring tone.  A phone strobe is useful in these scenarios.

Where you also see a phone strobe in use is where you’re in a silent area, or in a factory where it is physically impossible to hear other than with a klaxon.
