The Samsung idcs500 entered the European market in May 2002 as the replacement for the Samsung DCS.  The Samsung idcs500 brought the range into the “Internet World” with one of the first voice-over-IP solutions for the business community.

However, the Samsung idcs500’s product life was relatively short-lived as the OfficeServ500 replaced it the following year and the last shipments of Samsung idcs500 was in March 2004.
