Samsung Manager Explained
Samsung Manager is the term applied to the application, designed and developed by Samsung, which enables Organisations to manage their Samsung telephone system. The Samsung Manager is used predominantly with the Samsung Officeserv range of phone systems, which consist of the Samsung Officeserve 7100, the Samsung Office Serv 7200, the large Samsung Office-serv 7400 and the more recently launched Samsung OS7030. What is Samsung Manager? The Samsung Manager is Samsung's programming and maintenance tool, which enables remote changes to the made to the Samsung PABX. The Samsung Manager can be used via serial, modem and IP, Internet Protocol and also includes two configuration modes, one is the administration mode and the other is the supervisor option. The Admin selection allows authorised PBX Managers to configure parts of the Samsung network that directly affect employees such as ring types, and keyphone station names. This is the friendly choice were easy changes can take place. The supervisory mode gives complete access to all configuration details without the need to call upon a Samsung Engineer. However using this access level can seriously cause damage to your telephony solution if you are uncertain about Samsung communication installations. Samsung Manager has now been superceded by the free Samsung IT tool. Supplied on a CD it can be easily downloaded to your Samsung equipment.
