What is Samsung Manager? The Samsung Manager is the programme and maintenance interface that enables any change to be made to the Samsung PBX remotely. The Samsung Manager can be operated via serial cable, through a modem or by IP connection. It includes two modes: one being Administration and the other the Supervisor option.
The admin selection allows authorised PABX personnel to configure parts of the Samsung network that directly affect extensions such as ring types, and keyphone station names. This is the user-friendly program where easy changes can been performed. The supervisory mode gives comprehensive access to all configuration details without the need to call upon a Samsung trained engineer. However, beware, using this level can seriously cause damage to your telephony solution if you are uncertain about Samsung communication installations and programming schemes.
Samsung Manager has now been superseded by the free Samsung IT tool. Supplied on a CD it can be easily implemented. For more information contact us on 0800 652 8052.
