sip WiFi – what does it mean?

Well SIP is the latest form of public network service following on from ISDN2 and ISDN30.  It is based on broadband and VoIP technology giving business yet another means of communicating.  It stands for Session Internet Protocol.
It is going to become more accessible as BT rolls out its Twenty-First Century Network where everyone will eventually be IP connected.

WiFi is Wireless Fidelity using the 2.4 & 5 GHz radio bands.  It is defined in the IEEE 802.11 international standards. For more information:
This communication technique brings voice and data traffic together cordlessly.

So sip WiFi is now possible.  How do you utilise it?  By finding firstly a product that is sip WiFi enabled and secondly a supplier who has the knowledge, skill and experience to implement it.  Telephone Systems Direct and the OfficeServ 7000 series sip WiFi platforms meet these requirements.

The OS7000 range has received a “Best Buy†award from “What-to-Buy-for-Business” magazine while TSD was awarded Platinum accreditation in 2002 by Samsung Electronics UK.
