voice mail equipment

The best voice mail equipment in our opinion is the SVMi range from Samsung Electronics.  This voice mail equipment is one of the reasons why the dcs and OfficeServ telephony products have received awards from both the industry anf its customers over the years.

Initially the voice mail equipment was of American origin and was called Cadence and that is why some of the older voice mail equipment installations have a non-English catalogue of voice prompts.  With the introduction of the SVMi-8 for the DCS and successor iDCS500 and OfficeServ500 they all had other language options that could be switched on: Spanish, German, Dutch, Portuguese, French, Greek.

The SVM400 voice mail equipment was an external solution for the DCS408, DCS816 and OS12.  The SVMi-4 served the Compact II, iDCS100 and OfficeServ100.  The SVMi-2 voice mail equipment came in for the later DCS816-V2.

In the OfficeServ7200 and OfficeServ7400 the SVMi-20e voice mail equipment provides a basic 8 ports that can be increased in steps of 4 up to the 20 maximum.  For the smaller OfficeServ7030 and OfficeServ7100 the voice mail equipment is integral and enabled through software licensing.
