You voice software version might be old.  Using MMC727 on your Samsung telecoms system will display what voice software level you have.  If you ring us to report a problem it would be really good if you can tell us what voice software you’ve got.

Telephone Systems Direct regularly upgrades user voice software if it will resolve reported problems.  On the OfficeServ7000 series the voice software is updated probably twice yearly.  On previous platforms such as DCS and iDCS ranges the voice software is now frozen.  If your voice software is older than the latest voice software then we can help.  There will be a cost involved so speak to our Operations Manager who will do what he can on costs so you can benefit from an engineering visit.

The other face of voice software concerns IP-systems where your voicemail or applications such as CallManager can affect your system’s performance.  We have heard one or two stories about these, but professional pride forbids any comment!

We are a Platinum accredited reseller with our manufacturer giving us direct contact, a perk smaller resellers do not have.  Their voice software escalations must go through the distribution chain and wait for a resolution from Korea. As we discuss with their technical liaison directly we have greater chance of quick fixes with the voice software.
