Let me explain “what is a mobex”.  It is the ability to make your MOBile into your EXtension even when you are at the other end of the country. 

What is a MOBEX service? We provide you with a two or four SIM package which will serve eight or sixteen users.  Additional licences can be added later. The SIMs are linked via trunk circuits to your in-house OfficeServ 7000 voice platform (for example).  When your desk phone has rung for the pre-programmed time, your MOBEX will then ring (after any network delay) so you can answer.

Once connected you are able to place the conversation on hold, speak to another member of staff by dialling their number, then either continue your dialogue or transfer them, just as you would have if at your workstation in the office.

For the organisation with a widely dispersed workforce MOBEX can resolve many problems and reduce costs.
